However, it is crucial to remember that these initial teeth are temporary. They are designed to look great and protect your implants while your jawbone integrates with the titanium posts (osseointegration).

1. The Non-Negotiable "Soft Food" Diet

Your new implants are healing inside the bone, and any excessive biting pressure can disturb this delicate process. For the first 2 to 3 months, you must stick to a soft diet:

• What to eat: Smoothies, soups, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, well-cooked pasta, fish, and yogurt.
• What to strictly avoid: Nuts, chips, tough meats, raw carrots, apples, and anything sticky or chewy. If you can't cut it easily with a plastic fork, don't eat it!

2. Speech and Adaptation

When you first get your immediate temporary bridge, your tongue might need a few days to adjust to the new contours of your teeth. You might experience a slight lisp or notice increased salivation. 3. Oral Hygiene with Temporaries

Once the initial healing is complete, introducing a Waterpik (oral irrigator) on a low setting is the best way to clean underneath the temporary bridge.
